Message: Dear Bertha, I am just sending a P.C. [love] to let you know we are at Byril’s, at Manchester. They brought us last Sunday and [Bales] and Ron are fetching us back this Sunday. Bob intended calling to see you last Friday, but it was all a bit of a rush. He wasn’t at all well either, and had to see the Doctor. anyway Dear, he will be in to see you next week when we get home and tell you all. We wanted you to know that we hadn’t forgotten you.
