The booklet concerns a tithe agreement, made after Seaton was enclosed in 1657, with the rector for the rent to be paid for by a contribution from every owner. A Mr Fulthorpe confirmed the agreement but then tried to suppress it. The next rector, Mr Garnett did not accept the agreement as binding. Also mentions a dispute about some land at Whitmore.
