| Description | This diary relates to William Pakenham's posting on board HMS Garnet as 1st Lieutenant (?) and its journey around the Pacific Station. It appears it sailed around French Polynesia, along the coast of Peru, Mexico and California. Also includes a photograph of sailors on a beach with a ship in the background , nd. (folio 181 to 182).
