Also includes an envelope addressed to a General with 46 Grosvenor Street printed on the reverse. Also includes letters written in French and many are signed 'Churchyard'. The letters are addressed from France and Russia, 27 Jun 1887-18 Feb 1888. Also includes one letter in Italian addressed to 'Carina! Caro Jessica!' and signed 'E Luis[?]' and another letter written from Paris on headed notepaper of the Grand Hotel, 12, Boulevard des Capucines, Paris, to 'My dearest Jessie' and is unsigned and undated but the letter relates to lending Jessica some money. |
