Bequests: to son Arthur Saltmarshe, four acres of freehold land in the fields of Laxton and eight acres in Saltmarshe, also house and croft and about 31 acres; to son Christopher Saltmarshe, house and croft wherein Thomas Rainforth lived and a little close at Skelton called Millhill Close and about 15 and a half acres of copyhold land in Skelton fields; to daughter Henrietta Maria Saltmarsh, one half share of Springfield and Stansby Closes in Brackenholme being seven closes containing 36 acres; residue of real estate to Phillip Saltmarshe, his oldest son; bequests to sons Phillip and Arthur, daughter Henrietta Maria, sister Penelope Bell, sons-in-law Thomas Jewitt and Edward Jewitt; all the land before devised to be held by his wife until children reach age of 15; friend John Christopher Blakeston, Loughton, to be supervisor of the will
