Bequests: Use of chamber and bedding 'where she now doeth lye during the tyme she is pleased to stay at Emswell' and freedom of the gardens to Grace Best, his wife; £100 to Henrie Best, son; £200 each to to Charles Best, John Best, James Best, Robert Best, Anne Best and Sara Best, his children; tuition of John Best, James Best, Robert Best, Anne Best and Sara Best, his children, William Trott and Marie Trott to his son Paul Best, during their minorities; the 'grissled' horse or one of the colts in Richmondshire to Grace Best, his wife; Manor of Emswell, farm and lease of Cottam, house and cottage at Beverley to Paul Best, son.
