TitleLawyers’ opinion on the legal case of Burton v Haworth
Date23 Aug 1834
DescriptionRefers to an opinion that Mr Haworth’s title may be impeached because Napier Christie Burton could not suffer a valid recovery, as his assignees in bankruptcy were not parties to that recovery. Sarah Burton, sister of Napier Christie Burton, claims that Mr Haworth’s title is 'not good', and therefore she will claim the estate on the death of General Burton, her father.
