Includes references to Mr Ryder; the Corporation having come to a resolution to give 2 Gu[inea]s bounty to every Sailor and 1 guin[e]a to an ordinary one that will enter, 1 Guin[ea] to every sold[j]er that enlists in Col[one]l Napier's Regim[en]t within 15 miles of [Hull]; neither Harry or Maister having known of the meeting at Beverley; having sent by Tods waggon 16 Doz[en] Seville Oranges, 2 do[zen] China and 6 Doz[en] Lemons costing 15/6d; having sent to the Collect[o]r of Excise about Grimston's coach and post chariot and having made Punch with the juice of seville oranges which was squeez[e]d from the fruit in Nov[ember] 1753 which was as good as if taken from fresh fruit
