Includes references to Kelsey having always paid the Land Tax for Birkby; having all the wood and brick work in Fishburn's House measur'd; having paid Mr Peirses Bill; Atkinsons Rent; Fishburns payments to workmen; Hewgill's old friend Cooper; being at York in the week of the Assizes; the Kirby Hill Estate being sold and it being sold cheap; having had a letter from S[i]r Geo[rge] Cayley about the sale; if the Bishop had not been willing to give that much Hewgill having a friend who would; having got Grimston plenty of Poplar from his own ground and about four hundred Willows bought in different places; Hewgill's wishes for the planting of the trees and farms that he would like to exchange, one being Foggey's Farm and both being Tythe Free
