Includes references to hoping Mother and Heir are well; Smeaton's Father being uneasy for a chair that Grimston has promised him for which he will send his servant soon; Smeaton's father not being worse since Grimston saw him; the building which Grimston promised to the Tennants requiring more bricks than are already made he has ordered a man to cast clay for 3000 more in Fozzey's ground; not having occasion for so many but any spare will be ready sale in that neighbourhood; there being great waste in small kilns; not employing the same fellow his father did but one well recommended and whom he is now employing and about a picture that Grimston should have received safely which he had directed to the Tyger in Beverley
