Includes references to having a slight cold; Mr Osbaldeston and S[i]r Ralph Milbank having been unanimously elected, the former having been first chose and first returned altho[ugh] they had an equal number of votes; having thought that Grimston would have been elected along with Mr Osbaldeston; wishing much for Mr Maister's success; Mr Wilford having been with them a shis daughter Judy's husband was buried on Thursday and has not left money to pay his debts; Mr Osbaldeston being there on Monday for the Beverley sessions; having promised to attend Dr Foord's election at Hunmanby; having sent Bob's Galloway for him and hoping to lodge with Mr Davies at Beverley
