Includes references to Campbell having sent a Melon and Maister having preserved the seeds; Robin Legard and Thorley having called; Thorley having presented a bill of Grimston's for £220 which was not due to be paid and being very impertinent and very absurd when Maister refused it; Maister having discovered that Thorley had to pay £83 to Jarrat of Beverley that day, which he let him have, the remainder to be paid when it is due; a ship sailing for Hamburg so having sent George for the hounds promised for Harry; Dick Crowle having been in town and said that none have refused him their votes; a silver thimble which Mrs Grimston may have lost and the melon seed not being dry enough to lay by
