DescriptionIncludes references to an inclosure sent to Rowley with Mr Morn; Capt[ain] Storr being in town, with whom he will settle his account; details of payments; payment to his Brot[her] Digby; not having received Grimston's Mother's wine or Grimston's [Cloaths]; a letter received from his friend Mr Howe of Leghorn and details of bills from him; a Power of Attorney brought by a man called Price for the payment of prize money due to the crews of Russell and Boyn for the capture of a vessell called the St Antonio; an Act of Parliament which says that an advert should be put in the Gazzette for those concerned to make their claims in a limited time and after that payments remaining should be paid into a Fund for the benefit of Grenwich Hospital; the fine weather for Vauxhall; the Jew Bill and Marriage Bill being the topic of conversation; Dick having gone to Vaux Hall; his wife visiting the sick; Mrs Lavard [has gone] into Yorkshire with S Croft and his brother John expected soon at Bristol; also includes an extract from Mr Howes letter which includes references to Mr Simon Peter Cruize of Mahon having suspended remitting part of the prize Nostra Signora del Rosario, taken by Capt[ain] Charles Proby in his Majesties ship Lowestoff belonging to the deceased Vice admiral Medley
