DescriptionIncludes references to anything being due to Mackney for attending Adm[ira]l Medley being paid once he has given evidence as payment before may reflect dishonourably on both he and Grimston; [Mackney] and Casar proving the execution therefore Groat wouldn't dare to contradict it and being confined by the interrogations will have no opportunity of telling any fictitious tale but if he denied the sanity it would prove the hand of Turnbull; asking Mr Thompson to write to [H]ow at Leghorn to write to Turnbull to enquire about the execution of the will and if he is likely to come to England; Groat's behaviour being to frighten Grimston into some composition with Hardwick; giving Groves full powers to transact Grimston's affairs in Gibraltar and telling Mr Close that he has sent up Kelvington's answer to the bill
