DescriptionIncludes references to Grimston's receipt of 4 cases and Coffee; 4 cases and the matted parcels to be sent by Sewerby to Beverley when they arrive; no good Mortice Locks to be got in [Hull]; Marshall of Beverley having made those for [Maister's] house, they being good and cheaper than he could have got in London; they being made in sets with a Master Key, making them dearer than the cost of single locks; Marshall being slow but a neat workman; [Hull] being a bad place to procure a Coachman; Grimston's Tenant Cooper having brought Maister the Probate of her husband's will; details from the will including to his Daughter Frances one shilling, the lease of his Smiths shop to Thomas Thewson and all the Tools thereunto belonging, to his Sister Smith if yet alive Ten pounds and ordaining his wife whole and sole executrix to his last will, giving and bequeathing to her all his Real and Personal Estate not already given, witnessees being Sam[uel] Rastrick, Leo[nar]d Watson and John Arum; the thing in dispute beingwhether Thewson should pay rent and a request for Grimston's opinion
