DescriptionIncludes references to the clinkers being safe arrived and being fetched from Beverley to Kilnwick that day; the four cases of Marble by Capt[ai]n Coates having gone from there on Saturday to [Kilnwick]; that being all the goods sent from London; having paid Mr Sutton's bill on Grimston to Mr Isaac Broadley; Grimston's Tenants Duckworth, Ake, Rawson, Holmes and Pinder having paid their rent but the Hull tenants have not; having found from Robin Legard that Grimston is out of order with a cold, the late bad weather having affected everyone there with the same but it not having been fatal to any of their acquaintance; having now a severe frost which Maister hopes will lessen the violent distillations they have had to the great inconvenience of those who have few Handkerchiefs; having dined with S[i]r Rob[er]t Hildyard; Cap[tai]n Storr being in London and Sir Rob[er]t thinks he is in a very declining way
