DescriptionIncludes references to estates; Mr Charlton; Mr Wellby, who bought an estate that Bro[ther] Fysher had no right to sell and would not part with a shilling to save the family from ruin; the Spanby estate being £360 p[er] ann[um] but there is now only £12 a year let; Mr Fysher was offered £7000 but his friends thought it worth nine and now it probably would not sell for six thousand; request to ask Mr Pennant when he is in London what objection he has to the Grange and estate if he could not find a purchaser for Spanby; Lord Will[ia]m Manner; Mrs Langley called on her way from Bath; Coll[onel] Legard no better for the waters and had gone to London supposedly to sell his Commission
