DescriptionIncludes references to the account being transmitted from the Admiralty to the Navy; Genoese effects; not seen Mr Rowley as he is still employed on the Court Martial at Deptford but Mr Groves will get his opinion on the state of the Genoese effects; will refer their affair with Mr Byng; Captain Cooper, who was appointed a Commodore by Mr Rowley and the Vice Admiral [Medley] superceeded, has been with Groves to give in for [Grimston] a demand of a share of some prizes taken while his Broad pendant was hoisted, one of which is credited to [Grimston] and Green at Mahon; troubles with tenants because of distemper in cattle; Groves is soon to see Hardwick; concerns for the Sweed and Mr John Grimston is very well
