Includes references to an amount sent to Stables; the sale of Annuities 1747; Groves being shown Green's accounts; Wombell; Lewis having had a letter delivered to him by a friend of Tierny at Gibraltar; a letter from Groves about his attendance at the Admiralty; a Mr Harmood who has money due to Grimston from the Admiral's share of a [Prize] taken by the Feversham, which he thought Bing had received; subscribing to accept the terms offered by Parliament on Funds being at a stand; a printed paper given out at South Sea House for a form impowering anyone to subscribe (copy of which is included, addressed to Mr John Gyles at the South Sea House); rumours that Lord Crawford shot himself on being served with an execution in his house and details of £600 of Annuities 1747 sold at 103 percent
