Includes references to a monument being erected; an encounter with Mr Hardwick's lawyer Mr Kinsey, who did not know if they would do anything about the Petition and an offer made to him, which he refused; some of the conversation witnessed by Dr Allen; the captors and the Genoese agent have signed Articles of Composition to allow 2/3 and 1/3 respectively for the Genoese effects but the King is first to assent before the distribution; the Genoese have taken about £3000 from merchants which must be paid but by whom is not determined and Mr Rowley not expected in town till after Christmas
