Includes references to his failure to recover the effects of the Vice Admiral Medley abroad; correspondence with Spain now open again therefore Messrs Thompson and Seward should settle the dependence with Mr John Lewis of Gibraltar directly as he did not reply to Howe when he sent a copy of the probate last October; he has closed the account and sent particulars to Messrs Thompson and Seward and the chests with money and plate which were sent with Captain Latham
