Further to marriage of Henrye Stappleton and Mary, daughter of Sir John and Lady Iissabell Foster, and indenture of 8 May 1596
Sir John and Lady Foster covenant to convey to Sir William Mallorye, Phillip Constable, esquire, and William Inglebye, esquire, the capital messuages called Spindleston and Duddowe and their lands; rectory of East and West Allendale and two messuages in Swynnowe, livestock, corn and hay (scheduled and valued) at Spindleston, Duddowe or Dudoe, Esheington or Yeasington Grange, and Swynnowe or Swynoe; leasehold interest in water corn mill at Stainton and Marfen windmill
To use of Lady Issabell for life or until remarriage, then to Henrye Stappleton and Mary Stappleton and heirs, then heirs of Sir John Foster
