Title
Letter from George Calverley-Rudston, Ishawooa, Wyoming, to his father, Trevor Wheler Calverley-Rudston
Date
17 May 1904
Description
Took 4 days to get there. Discusses journey times and the lifestyle there. Wonders how horses survive here as they are worked so hard. Mentions Buffalo Bill as the only boss of the county and that his real name is Cody. The air quality is very different. The Duke of Roxburgh and others camped out to hunt but there are restrictions on killing moose and beaver. Everyone has a rifle 'and they think no more of shooting a man than a rabbit'.
