Title
Copy letter from William Henry Rudston-Read, Frickley Hall, to his uncle, George Rudston
Date
3 Jan 1835
Description
Explains on behalf of his father that he is unable to enter into business because of nervous agitation and that he advises his father not to accept the offered security on £4,000 of a mortgage. The matter has gone on for too long and George should have informed his brother earlier that he could not fulfil the contract. Suggests mortgaging property. His father wishes the corn account to close immediately.
