Description
It is a critical time for wheat and he has quit[?] 2,000 quarters of it. Hopes to have a profit costing them 34 shillings. The price may go up to 60 shillings. He gives the prices of St Petersburg wheat in 1828 and in 1830. Discusses the quality of the harvest and hopes for a better crop but the signs are not good. His washing account is written on the reverse.
