DescriptionWeather has been heavy rains and high winds which has 'laid the corn terribly' and caused it to sprout. The land in Holderness is flooded. Russian wheat is the most desirable to mix with the soft grain. Mentions the wheat price as 50 shillings with a possibility of rising to 58 shillings a quarter. Russian and Hamburg wheat has advanced in price.
