TitleJudge Cressey's warrant to receive £200 of Irish money [part of DDCR/7/1/1/1]
Date[1634]
DescriptionWhereas letters patent of 12 April authorising warrants for the payment to Hugh C esquire, a justice of His Highness's Court of Chief Place with an average yearly wage of £200 Irish sterling with allowances for robes. This to be dated from the death of his predecessor Sir CS who died 16 December 1632, whose wages were paid quarterly. Appears that Hugh C did not receive a wage until 21 June following and so now is owed two quarter day's pay of £100 and 20 marks.
