| Description | Whereas a petition of WP, having previously been granted part of a river, that several persons under grants from the Mayor and other officers of the city keep ferry boats on the River A and receive money for the ferrying of passengers. Informations received from Sir GR and Sir WR that His Majesty grants rights of ferries, not the Mayor or officers and so the other ferry boat owners are to desist during the term of His Majesty's grant. |
