Bequests: Include: to her man servant and maid, £10 each for mourning and £6 for other servants; to her sister, Lady Strickland, £20 for mourning, Mrs Grimes, her neice, £10; Mrs Harriet Le Merchant, friend, £10 for a ring; Mrs Cholmley of Langton, a mourning ring of £10; to Priscilla Strickland, god-daughter, £50; to neice, Sabina Williamson, £20; to Mrs Lister, £20; to cousin, Catherine Cappe, and mourning rings and to neice, Elizabeth Freeman and Miss Mary Assheton; all annuities to servants to be paid including William Turner; all wearing apparel to her maid, Ann Lance or £50; to servant Reuben Williamson, one year's wages and the Bible and Book of Common Prayer; to Henry Cholmley of Howsham and Abraham Grimes of Coton House, Warwickshire, capital stock of £1,200 to pay the dividends to Reuben Williamson; to neices, Charlotte Strickland, Julia Strickland and Sophia Strickland, all silver plate and bed linen; to her nieces, Catherine Jessy Cholmley, Mary Cholmley, Louisa Cholmley, Charlotte Cholmley and Emily Cholmley, the residue of her estate to be divided amongst them only if they are unmarried; the estate with other provisions for the residuary estate involving the Strickland family. Includes a contemporary note summarising the bequests.
