Refers to a grant by Samuel Saltonstall, 3 September 1608 to John Graves of Kingston upon Hull, alderman and John Lister, the younger, gentleman and now knight of the Wragby rectory with appurtenances except the tithes of Huntwick. To the use of Samuel Saltonstall and Elizabeth Saltonstall, his wife, for the term of their lives and for the jointure of Elizabeth. Because of the marriage of Elizabeth and Walter Rudston remains for the life of Elizabeth and the remainder to Richard Saltonstall to place, pay the salary of the curate lies with Walter and Elizabeth and for 3 years they granted to Richard the appointment nomination and they still paid the salary and agree to pay the salary.
