Bequests: Elizabeth Read and Sarah Wilberfoss, daughters, land and messuage which are leased of the prebend of Newbald. If Sarah dies before 21 years old and unmarried then it is to be divided between the other daughters, Elizabeth, Mary, Martha and Ursula. To Mary, moiety of land at Ganstead and rent from two houses in Saint Andrew Gate in the City of York with other directions concerning the property. To Martha and Ursula, £400 a piece for their portions to be paid at 18 years old and that his son, Clement Read, keeps them in sufficient meat, drink, washing, clothes and other necessarys and education. To Martha and Ursula, farm and lands at Huntington, County of York. To grandson, Roger Read, 100 young sheep and the rest of his personal estate.
