The deed recites the marriage settlements of Elizabeth Langley and Judith Twisleton and the will of Boynton Boynton of Rawcliffe (father of Elizabeth and Judith) and states that as the parties have agreed that the estates of Boynton Boynton shall be equally divided between the sisters, it has been agreed to levy a fine on all the estates. The uses are to be that the manors of Hagthorpe and Bagthorpe to be subject to the trusts expressed in the above mentioned marriage settlements. Trustees for a term on trust that one undivided moiety shall be to the use of John Twisleton and his wife with remainders.
