Description
That he was in the West Indies for 29 months on board ship then was discharged and went to Deptford from where he sailed back to the West Indies. He then sailed to Malta and back to Maidstone in Kent from where he went to Lincolnshire and had been moving about, sometimes working and sometimes begging in Lincolnshire and Yorkshire. He married Elizabeth Kilwath near Plymouth and had three children: James, Robert born in Plymouth and Edward born in Lincoln.
