| Description | Diary has two separate entries 1885-1918 which records notes on the commencement of engineering work done, repairs, accidents, deaths of engineers, achievements such as first ships to be docked, names of workers and the Zeppelin raid on Goole Docks, 9 Aug 1915. The entries for 1934-1937 includes work done on the customs house, gangway, materials used, prices, names of workers. Entry for 1936 includes information on the keel 'Renown' which sank.
