| Description | This series of files relates to the Emergency Planning Service of Humberside County Council. The files have been structured according to their original file number, which is also included in the catalogue.
This series was held by Emergency Planning in the Emergency Control Centre at Wawne and were transferred to the Archives Service in July 2001 by East Riding of Yorkshire Council Property Services prior to the disposal of the site.
The files relate to all aspects of the County Council's emergency planning service. One sequence of files relates specifically to industrial emergency planning and relates to liaison with major industrial premises. Also included in the series are files relating to Parish Council community contingency planning that include vital contact and resource information about individual local communities.
Further correspondence files relating to Emergency Planning consisting of earlier files with the same file number sequence were transferred to the main registry of Humberside County Council files and are listed with these under the references CCHU/2/3/1/222-260. Another series of files removed from the Emergency Control Centre at an earlier date are listed under reference CCHU/2/3/2/14. |
