Description	The Industrial Development Committee was formed in Jan 1946. Minutes for Jan 1946-Jul 1948 can be found in the Special Committees minutes (BOBR/1/49/4 ff.113-138). The Industrial Development Committee was created to encourage industry after the Second World War and to manage lands and estates. The work undertaken by the Committee included the creation of industrial estates, sites and signs for factories and public relations for promoting industry. Its functions were transferred to the Finance and General Purposes Committee in Mar 1968. Volume does not contain an index.
