Description	The Sewerby Estate was purchased by Bridlington Borough in Dec 1934. A Special Committee was appointed to be responsible for the control and management of the estate. In 1952 the Libraries and Arts Committee set up a meeting with the Sewerby Estate Committee concerning the establishment of an art gallery in Sewerby Hall. In 1953 the functions of the Sewerby Estate Committee were transferred to the Joint Sewerby Estate, Libraries and Arts Committee. This volume does not contain an index.
