DescriptionBy Thomas Danyell and John Cudy of all lands they inherited after the deaths of Matilda and Isabel daughters and heirs of Thomas de Flynton of Flynton property: J.C. to have in FLINTON the West part of a capital messuage and of and enclosed part there beginning at the West door, an close called Southparrok with the Southecroft; croft called Alisongarth and South part of Mikilparrok; South part of Martoftes with the North part of Martoftdayle nearest towards the East ("propius versus solem") in either field of Monkplattes (i.e. 3 selions on Haverholm, 8 on Cotedayle, 1 at Grossmarr and 2r. in the Oustker); in the West field, 3 selions at the North part of Redeker, 3 in South part of Redeker, 7 at le Morehirne, 6 at Doufecotemer, 1½ at Smythwyk, 3 at Almusynmar, 6 at Atilker, 3 at Hillockgrenes, 5 at Sandholme, 1½ at Twyerthornes, 8 at Helparrock, and half the head land there with the upkeep of half the sewer there and the moiety of Helparrok on the East of the sewer there; in the East field, 2r. with le Martynlands for one bovate; in the West field, Johnogganges through the whole field except 1½ ac. at Hesilbuskmar. In MERFLETE a croft in Westgate called Westcroft, and a croft called le Estcroft near le Hoke and 1 bovate in tenure of Peter Wattyman and John Hoyer with the meadow and pasture belonging. In TUNSTALL, the N. part of a messuage there and the N.W. parts of all the lands there as divided except 1 selion in the West field from Crokhowhedland to Ingolpolegate of which he shall have the eastern moiety; and the moiety of 8d rent from a messuage.
In WELLWYKTHORP the Western moiety of Flyntoncroft and ½ bovate in Ploghlandfield held by Robert Tok, a place of land sometime in the tenure of Ellen Tailior, 3s. 9d. free rents and ½ bovate in tenure of John Parkor. Rendering all rents and services due to Sir Stephen de Thorp except 12d yearly payable by Thomas Daniel to "le Oureferme".
T.D. to have in FLINTON the N. and E. parts of a capital messuage; a place of land called Amondgarth with a house on it; a toft called Skynnercroft and the N. part of Mikelparrok with a close called Helparrok sometime in the tenure of Amand de Flinton; N. part of Martoftes with S. part of Martoftdayle and that part towards the W. (furthest from the sun - ("longius a sole") in either field of Monkplattes (i.e. 7 selions of Cotedayle, 2 at Crossmarr, 3 at Naverhyll, 8 at Morenoke, 3 at Redeker on the N. part and 3 on the S., 8 at Doufecotemer, 1½ at Smythwyk, 2 at Almusynmar, 7 at Aulker, 2 at Poytonwelles, 2 at the N. part of Atilker, 3 at Hillokgrenes, 6 at Sandholme, 1½ at Teyerthornes, 8 at Helparrok, and half the headland there with the upkeep of half the sewer there, and a moiety of Helparrok on the E. of the sewer there; in the East field 1 bovate called Johnoxland; in the West field 2r. with Martynland for 1 bovate with 1 ac. 1r. at Hesilbusmar.
In MERFLETE a capital messuage and 1 bovate with the meadow and pasture belonging. IN TUNSTALL the S. part of a messuage there and the S. and E. parts of all the lands there as divided except 1 selion in the W. field from Crokholehedland to Ingolpolegate of which he shall have the W. part, and the moiety of 8d rent from a tenement. In WELWYKTHORP a messuage and croft called Northcroft and ½ bovate in tenure of Stephen de Holem; The E. moiety of Flyntoncroft; ½ bovate in Ploughlandfeld in tenure of William Edmund rendering thence 12d yearly to "le Ourferme". T.D. also to have 3s. 9d. rent for the free farm in the said town (Welwykthorp) for his property there Mutual bond in £40 for performance. Witnesses: Thomas de Fitlyng, Thomas Dole de Hedon, John Ingram, Thomas King, Robert Aumond (de Merflete?). Given at Flynton. Seal "I.H.C."
Memorandum that J.C. shall have le Southestpyghall with 4 ash-trees in a certain pyghell of T.D. (as his share of the messuage in Merflete assigned to T.D.).
